Description
This is a large collection of raw, ungraded comic books dating primarily from the early-to-mid 1990s. The lot represents the era prominent for the 90s comic boom, with a substantial concentration of titles from Image Comics, particularly Rob Liefeld’s Extreme Studios, alongside selections from Valiant Comics, DC Comics, Malibu Comics (Ultraverse), Dark Horse Comics, Comico, and Eternity.
The collection includes multiple issues and duplicates of Brigade (including Brigade: Blood Brothers), Bloodstrike, Cyber Force, Doom’s IV, Backlash, Battlestone, Badrock and Company, Shadowhawk II, and Stormwatch. Valiant Comics is represented by Archer and Armstrong, The Second Life of Doctor Mirage, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, Armorines, Bloodshot, and Solar, Man of the Atom. Malibu Comics features issues of Prototype. DC Comics selections include Judge Dredd, El Diablo, Arak: Son of Thunder, Showcase ’93 (featuring Two-Face), Justice League Task Force, and Our Fighting Forces featuring The Losers. Other publishers represented include Comico (Robotech Masters), Eternity (White Devil), and Dark Horse Comics (including Out of the Vortex).
Each comic book is individually housed in a protective plastic sleeve, with many featuring cardboard backing boards. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
The comic books in this collection are in raw, ungraded condition. Visually, the books appear to range from mid to high-grade, generally estimated from Fine to Near Mint through the bags. The covers are fully attached with standard minor spine stress lines and corner wear consistent with age, handling, and storage. No major defects, major tears, or cover detachments are visually apparent.
