Description
This lot consists of a collection of industrial-grade aviation obstruction lighting and related electrical components. Included are five Type L-810 low-intensity red obstruction light assemblies. These units are labeled as qualified to FAA Specification AC 150/5345 and were manufactured in Bloomfield, Connecticut. The red glass Fresnel lenses on these units feature a molded manufacturer logo consisting of a stylized H inside a C. The lot also contains one caged industrial light fixture with a red glass globe, which is UL listed and bears a CSA mark. Additional hardware includes one Crouse-Hinds T-shaped conduit body, model 370, designed for 1-inch fittings and marked Syracuse, New York. Completing the lot is one grey cast metal electrical box. Most components feature UL Listing and Canadian Standards Association certifications. While the units are designed for hardwired AC connection, one assembly retains a standard grounded power plug. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
These items are offered as industrial surplus in used condition. Visible signs of field use include accumulated dust, surface oxidation on metal conduit fittings, and tape residue. Wiring is cut on several units. The glass lenses and globes appear to be intact without major cracks, though they require cleaning. All items are sold untested and in as-is condition for parts or restoration.
