Description

A pair of vintage aircraft propeller spinners, likely from a twin-engine aircraft such as a Cessna 310, repurposed as industrial lighting reflectors. The housings are constructed from two-piece riveted aluminum with a polished reflective interior and a matte exterior finish. Each spinner features a streamlined teardrop profile with a circular central opening and two elliptical side cutouts intended for propeller blades. The lot includes two matching clear domed glass lenses with flat peripheral mounting lips. One lens is marked with an embossed circled K, the maker mark for Kopp Glass, and the alphanumeric text REABLE M. I. F-5038.

Condition report:

The aluminum housings show surface scratches, scuffs, and areas of oxidation consistent with age and industrial use. The interior reflective surfaces remain bright with minor surface dust and light scratches. The glass lenses exhibit significant surface grime, dust, and dried residue which will require cleaning. No major chips or cracks are visible on the lenses. These are incomplete components and do not include electrical sockets, wiring, or mounting brackets.
