Description
This vintage three-section traffic signal features a yellow-painted metal housing and tiered visors. The unit is equipped with red, amber, and blue plastic lenses. The reverse of the primary casing bears an embossed circular mark reading PAT. PEND. MARBELITE NEW YORK, U.S.A. The cast metal mounting bracket is embossed with MARBELITE CO. INC. and model number TC-225B. Several strands of green insulated electrical wiring are visible extending from the housing. The unit’s construction utilizes a metal casing and plastic lenses.
Length: 39 inches. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
The traffic signal exhibits signs of age and prior outdoor service. There are visible surface scuffs, scratches, and areas of paint loss on the yellow housing and visors. The cast metal mounting bracket shows significant surface oxidation and rust. The plastic lenses appear intact with minor surface wear. Electrical components are untested and the wiring is exposed. Dust and debris are present throughout the unit.
