Description
This geometric Op Art screenprint features a grid of squares that distort and shift across a vertically split field of fluorescent orange and blue. The composition creates high-contrast visual tension as blue squares on the orange background transition into orange squares on the blue background. The print is executed with fluorescent inks that react under ultraviolet light. The work is printed on paper and bears the printed name Hausman in the upper right margin and Lampert Reproductions in the lower right margin. No hand signature or edition number is present.
Sheet size: 36.75 x 24.5 inches. Pickup is Friday, July 31, from Noon to 7 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. Condition report:
The unframed sheet displays minor handling creases across the surface and pinholes in the four corners. A small vertical tear is present at the center of the bottom edge. The reverse shows light toning and a small inventory label in the upper corner.
