Description
This is a modern reproduction of a United States Marine Corps (USMC) P1942 utility jacket and trousers set. The jacket is constructed from heavy-duty cotton herringbone twill (HBT) and features a reversible frog skin camouflage pattern. One side displays the green-dominant five-color jungle pattern, while the reverse side displays the brown-dominant three-color beach pattern. The jacket is designed with a single patch pocket on the left chest and two large patch pockets at the waist, mirrored on both sides of the reversible garment. The front is secured with dark-finished metal snap fasteners. Black stenciling on the chest pocket of both sides shows the letters USMC above the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor (EGA) emblem. A black numeral size stamp of 42 is present on the beach camouflage side near the interior neck area. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
