Description
An assortment of non-fiction volumes focusing on military history, photojournalism, and American political events. The group includes a two-volume set of Willie and Joe by Bill Mauldin, bound in publisher’s green cloth with black stamped graphics. Single volumes include The Camera at War: A history of war photography from 1848 to the present day by Jorge Lewinski; Case Closed: Lee Harvey Oswald and the Assassination of JFK by Gerald Posner; Hard Call: Great Decisions and the Extraordinary People Who Made Them by John McCain and Mark Salter; Black Hawk Down: A Story of Modern War by Mark Bowden; and The Day Kennedy Was Shot: An uncensored minute-by-minute account of November 22, 1963 by Jim Bishop. The volumes range from octavo to quarto in size and are hardcovers in publisher’s cloth or boards. Most volumes retain their original dust jackets. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
