A collection of hardcover volumes from the historical series titled The Vietnam Experience, published by the Boston Publishing Company. Each volume is bound in the publisher’s black pictorial boards featuring a red horizontal accent line and a large black-and-white documentary photograph on the front cover. The series provides a comprehensive visual and narrative history of the Vietnam War and its social impact. Visible titles include The Aftermath, The North, The False Peace, Nineteen Sixty-Eight, Raising the Stakes, A Nation Divided, Combat Photographer, Thunder From Above, Rain of Fire, The Fall of the South, Fighting for Time, Images of War, Tools of War, America Takes Over, A War Remembered, and A Collision of Cultures. The spines display the publisher mark for the Boston Publishing Company. These volumes are in quarto format and are heavily illustrated with archival photographs and maps. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
