Description
Grouping of United States Marine Corps tropical combat uniforms from the Vietnam War era. The lot includes one OG-107 olive drab Third Pattern tropical combat coat and one set of Engineer Research and Development Laboratories green-dominant Lowland pattern camouflage fatigues consisting of a coat and matching trousers. The OG-107 coat is constructed of cotton poplin and features a concealed button front with four slanted bellows pockets. It is embellished with a black embroidered Marine Corps Eagle, Globe, and Anchor emblem with USMC text on the left chest pocket and a name tape reading MASON sewn above the pocket flap. The ERDL camouflage coat is made of 100 percent cotton ripstop poplin and features a black stenciled USMC mark on the left chest pocket. Interior labels specify the size as Small Regular and provide a contract date of 1970 via code DSA 100-70-C-0639, manufactured by Burgess Mfg. Inc. The matching ERDL trousers are made of the same ripstop fabric and feature a six-pocket cargo design, side waist adjustment tabs with metal buckles, and drawstring cuffs. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
