Description
A lot of two complete sets of United States Marine Corps tropical combat uniforms in the ERDL Lowland Green camouflage pattern. These uniforms are the 4th pattern design, featuring slanted chest pockets and constructed from 100 percent cotton wind-resistant ripstop poplin. Both sets date to 1969 based on the Defense Supply Agency contract numbers. The first set includes a jacket manufactured by Tellico Manufacturing Company under contract DSA 100-69-C-1723, sized Small-Long. The left chest pocket is stenciled with the USMC initials and the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor emblem. The second set includes a jacket manufactured by Alpha Industries Inc. under contract DSA 100-69-C-1722, also sized Small-Long. This jacket features a similar USMC pocket stencil and includes two metal pin-on Sergeant rank chevrons on the collars. Both sets include matching ERDL ripstop trousers with waist adjustment tabs and brass zippers. Internal labels remain present and legible in both sets, providing sizing, height requirements, and laundering instructions. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
