Description
This lot consists of three US Army field shirts, including one full-button olive drab wool flannel shirt, one pullover half-placket olive drab wool flannel shirt, and one khaki pullover half-placket field shirt. The two olive drab wool garments feature dual breast pockets with pointed button-down flaps and reinforced circular elbow patches, consistent with the M1937 pattern. The khaki shirt is constructed in a similar pullover style with two button-flap chest pockets. All three garments exhibit standard mid-20th-century military construction, utilizing heavy-duty stitching and period-appropriate brown plastic and composition buttons. No manufacturer labels, inspector stamps, or unit insignia are visible in the provided images. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
