Description
This is a four-pocket tactical field shirt constructed from black ripstop fabric, identified as a tactical coat under National Stock Number 8415-01-084-1647. The garment was issued to a Sergeant within the Newark, Ohio Police Department Special Operations Group (SOG). The shirt features a button-down front with a protective flap, adjustable button cuffs, and two chest and two hip pockets. The left chest features a navy blue name tape with silver-grey embroidered text reading MASON. The right chest features a matching POLICE tape and a circular yellow and blue patch embroidered with SUPERVISOR NEWARK POLICE OHIO surrounding a central seal. The right sleeve is adorned with a Newark Police Department shield patch depicting a map of Licking County and the city motto LAND OF LEGEND. The left sleeve features the Newark Police Special Operations Group unit patch, which displays quadrants containing a red lightning bolt, breaching tools, and a unit mascot consisting of a horse on a skateboard. Both sleeves feature yellow-on-black Sergeant rank chevrons sewn below the department and unit patches. An interior white fabric label at the collar is printed with the following sizing and identification data: MEDIUM REGULAR, HEIGHT: FROM 67 TO 71, CHEST: FROM 37 TO 41, STOCK NO. 8415-01-084-1647, NATO SIZE 7080/9404, 0122.
