This collection features a variety of United States military medical and NBC protective equipment spanning from the mid-20th century to the modern era. The primary component is an Elite First Aid Tactical Trauma Kit, specifically the 138OD model, contained within a heavy-duty olive drab nylon backpack. The backpack is designed with multiple zippered compartments and integrated MOLLE/PALS webbing for modular attachments. A hook-and-loop field on the front upper pocket is fitted with a grey and black MED identification patch. The interior contains a variety of modern medical supplies including a SAM splint, MedStop trauma bandages, sterile 5 inch by 9 inch ABD pads, and Dynarex elastic bandages. The kit also includes a large quantity of Safetec benzalkonium chloride antiseptic towelettes, alcohol prep pads, and a Hefty brand Shrink-Pak travel storage bag. The lot further includes a Cold War era US M17 series protective mask assembly. This set consists of a rubber facepiece with integrated filters, a canvas carrying bag with a black stencil marking SR, and a factory-sealed spare M11 canister marked Lot BS-337-8508-20. Also present is a vintage khaki heavy canvas utility or medical bag with a front flap bearing a faded U.S. stamp and secured with leather ties. Additional components include a padded olive drab canvas cold weather hood with a thick fleece lining, a black leather and tan nylon equipment strap, and two green nylon webbing straps bearing the handwritten names B.H. YOUNG and D.L. YOUNG in black ink. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos.
