Description
An assortment of mid-20th century United States military insignia and decorations, encompassing components from the World War II and Korean War eras. The collection features numerous ribbon bars mounted on metal frames, including the Air Medal with a V valor device, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with bronze service stars, and the American Campaign Medal. Also included are unit citation bars, notably the U.S. Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation with a gold frame. A significant component is a silver-toned Submarine Warfare Insignia pin, accented with three combat stars. The reverse of the pin is incised with the maker mark AMICO above the word STERLING. The lot is further comprised of multiple military fourragères in gold, light blue, and mixed black-and-gold cord. Several small plastic bags contain loose pin components, including silver-toned and bronze-toned service stars.
Submarine Warfare Pin Length: 2.75 inches. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
