Description
This lot consists of an assortment of United States Military Police brassards and a vintage brass bugle. The collection includes brassards featuring the shoulder sleeve insignia for the Ohio Army National Guard, consisting of a red-bordered triangle with a blue field, three stars, and a red and white circle. Other brassards in the group display the insignia for the Ohio Army National Guard State Area Command. Materials represented include olive drab green nylon, tan canvas with leatherette lettering, and black fabric with vinyl text. Construction features hook-and-loop fasteners and embroidered details. The accompanying brass bugle is a standard military-style instrument with a removable mouthpiece and two attachment rings for a lanyard cord. No legible maker marks are visible on the instrument or the textile items.
Bugle length: 17 inches. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
