Description

This lot consists of three single-stack magazines for the M1911 or M1911A1 semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP, along with a military belt holder for two mags. Two of the magazines feature floorplates marked with a capital M, the text COLT 45 AUTO, and the embossed rampant colt logo, indicating manufacture by Metalform under contract for Colt. The third magazine features an unmarked floorplate with a vertically brushed finish. All three magazines are constructed of blued steel and feature standard observation holes and rounded followers. The accompanying magazine pouch is a US military M1923 pattern magazine holder constructed of heavy-duty Olive Drab #3 canvas. It is designed with two pockets and a single pointed flap secured by a central brass Lift-the-Dot style snap fastener. This style of pouch was standard issue for the US Army and US Marine Corps during the mid-20th century. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos.
