Description
This lot features two non-functional replica pistols designed for display or theatrical use. The first item is a flintlock replica by Denix of Spain, constructed with a stained wood stock and cast metal hardware including an octagonal-to-round barrel and trigger guard. The lock plate is marked DENIX MADE IN SPAIN. The second item is an MGC (ModelGun Corporation) M1911A1 non-firing model gun. It is made of a heavy metal alloy with brown checkered plastic grip panels. The left side of the slide is stamped M-1911A1-67 / AUTOLOADING PISTOL / CALIBER .45 / U.S. ARMY / MODEL. The grip panels feature the intertwined MGC logo on circular medallions. The magazine is absent. These items are non-functional replicas and cannot be converted to fire live ammunition.
Flintlock total length: 13.5 inches
M1911A1 total length: 8.5 inches. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
