Description
A collection of buttons systematically mounted on four thematic display cards. The first card, labeled ANCHORS, contains numerous metal and composite buttons featuring diverse nautical motifs. A second card titled TRIANGLE displays a group of triangular buttons in various materials, including glass, wood, shell, and early plastics, accompanied by handwritten identification notes such as Pipestone, Casein, and Catalin. A third card features animal-themed buttons, including carved and painted examples of pandas, koalas, and a canine head, centered around a wildlife illustration. The final card presents an assortment categorized by material and period, with labels for steel, polymer clay, carnelian, and black glass, among others. These items are buttons showing varied materials and designs typical of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Display cards: approximately 12 x 9 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
