Description
A collection of buttons featuring an acorn and oak leaf motif. The items are mounted on three display boards and one illustrated paper sheet. The assortment includes buttons crafted from molded and faceted glass, brass and silver-tone metals, carved wood, ceramic, and plastic resins such as Bakelite or celluloid. The collection encompasses various styles, including Victorian-era metalwork, modernist forms, and studio-made examples. One board includes a label for ACORNS and handwritten notations such as PAP BACK and PROB UNSIGNED STUDIO. One sheet displays a button alongside technical illustrations of acorn designs.
Measurements: Mounting boards approximately 8.5 x 11 inches each. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
