Description
This collection of antique and vintage buttons includes an assortment of examples crafted from celluloid, early plastic, turned wood, striped mother-of-pearl, and various metals. The group features several graduated Mother and Daughter sets in various materials, including vibrant yellow molded celluloid with faux turquoise insets and turned wood. Metal examples include brass and silver-tone pieces with filigree, enameled bird motifs, stamped figural designs, and rhinestone-encrusted surfaces. Also present are knotted cord buttons, floral-shaped modern horn pieces, and deep red ovoid acrylic buttons. These items are buttons presented on a labeled display board with hand-written annotations categorizing the pieces by size and material.
Display board: 10 x 8 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
