Description
An assortment of antique and vintage buttons featuring matching pairs of differing sizes, mounted on a categorized display sheet. The collection includes various materials such as tinted pewter, carved mother-of-pearl, celluloid, and glass-in-metal with faux paste accents. Decorative themes include botanical grape motifs, leaf forms, pictorial animals, and geometric patterns. Construction methods noted include steel-up with pin shanks and rimmed edges. Handwritten annotations on the board identify specific types such as German BMK and pewter.
The display board measures approximately 11 inches in length. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
