Description
This collection consists of an assortment of buttons, many of which are organized into matching pairs of graduated sizes. The lot features a variety of materials including metallic plastic, cast metal, bone, and glass. Notable examples include Art Deco-style fluted plastic buttons with yellow centers, rhinestone-encrusted oval designs, and cast metal pieces with floral and figurative reliefs. One set is identified by handwritten notation as bone from India, circa 1960. The collection also includes oversized silver-toned buttons with concentric circular motifs and pieces with blue glass cabochon centers. The buttons are presented on a neutral-toned display card with handwritten labels indicating sizes ranging from small to large and technical descriptions such as MET. PLASTIC and MULTI-HOLE SEW THRU.
