Description
A collection of assorted antique and vintage buttons of various materials and designs, mounted on a light gray display card labeled MOTHER/DAUGHTER. The group includes brass buttons with relief motifs such as a dog, birds, and a figure identified by handwritten text as ERATO MUSE OF MUSIC. The collection features fabric-covered buttons depicting Union Jacks and toasters, early plastic buttons with geometric patterns—some specifically labeled as CASEIN—and carved cameo-style buttons. Other components include faceted black glass buttons, woven silk-like buttons, and novelty pieces such as a small basket of flowers.
