Description
This assortment of 19th and 20th century buttons includes a variety of materials and decorative styles mounted on labeled display cards. The collection features buttons with opalescent stones, paste rhinestones, transparent glass, and various cabochons. Metal examples are present in brass, pewter, and white pot metal, showcasing techniques such as filigree and motifs including floral, celestial, and geometric designs. Specific groupings include items labeled as opalescent stones, pastes, and unusual glass. One card contains yellow plated metal buttons identified by collector notes as Todd Oldham. These items are buttons presented for classification and study, with some cards featuring handwritten notes regarding material and historical standards. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
