Description
This lot features a collection of vintage and antique buttons and small brooches presented on multiple categorized display boards. The grouping includes Norwalk pottery buttons with marbled brown and green glazes, also identified as Connecticut pottery. Porcelain buttons feature hand-painted and transfer-printed floral, figural, and avian designs, with several examples marked Limoges France. Classical jasperware pieces in blue and white are present alongside stoneware buttons marked Ruskin England. The collection also contains figural paste or rhinestone-set jewelry, including an owl and a colorful geometric piece with a faux pearl. Technical and industrial categories are represented by various buttons crafted from brass, steel, rubber marked Goodyears, and composition materials featuring geometric patterns and relief designs. The items are mounted on labeled cardstock boards with various handwritten identifying marks.
Display boards: 9 x 12 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
