Description
This collection consists of various collectible and decorative buttons organized on several paper and cardstock display sheets. These items are buttons crafted from a diverse range of materials, including porcelain, earthenware, ceramic, celluloid, wood, glass, and various metals. The designs feature figural motifs such as animals including cats, camels, mice, butterflies, and birds, as well as architectural forms like houses, lighthouses, and fireplaces. Other designs include objects such as pianos, computers, fire engines, and trains, alongside geometric and abstract patterns. Several cards include printed labels identifying categories such as Indian Pottery/Ceramic, Earthenware Assorted, and Black and White Porcelain. Handwritten annotations on the mounting sheets reference the Pennsylvania State Button Society and NBS 2023. Specific artist or studio names are noted, including L. Schulz and C. Aupersaert. Mounting cards approximately 11 inches in height. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
