Description
A collection of antique buttons primarily fashioned from molded and faceted black glass, dating to the 19th and early 20th centuries. The assortment features a diverse range of decorative motifs, including intricate floral patterns, geometric designs, and pictorial scenes depicting warriors, architectural structures, and natural elements. The buttons exhibit various manufacturing techniques and finishes, including acid-etched or abraded surfaces, iridescent textures, and high-gloss finishes. Notable examples include a star-motif button described as electroplated with metal and several large decorative pieces. The items are presented on labeled display cards and include various shapes such as circular, hexagonal, and square forms.
Display cards measure approximately 8.75 inches in width. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
