Description
This collection features multiple antique and vintage metal buttons primarily showcasing pierced or open-work designs in various styles and sizes. The group includes circular, ornate floral, and scrollwork motifs, as well as geometric patterns. Many pieces are embellished with faceted cut-steel or marcasite-style metal studs. The buttons are constructed from several materials, including brass, copper-toned, and silver-toned alloys; one example features a white enamel border with floral accents. The pieces are presented on a white mounting board labeled PIERCED OR OPEN WORK.
Mounting board: 9 inches (height) Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
