Description
An assortment of antique and vintage pewter buttons presented on a purple display card. These are buttons featuring a diverse range of styles, including relief-molded floral and foliate motifs, intricate geometric patterns, and openwork designs. The collection includes examples with supplemental finishes such as gilding, polychrome enamel, and painted details. A single small, red, bead-form shank button is also present. Handwritten annotations on the display card and an attached tag provide descriptive notes including rimmed, very old drilled shank, pierced backmarked pewter, and faced pewter.
Display card: 8.5 x 11 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
