Description
This group consists of several early 20th-century real photo postcards and a photographic print depicting scenes from Summerland Beach at Buckeye Lake and Millersport, Ohio. The postcards are black and white and sepia-toned, featuring printed captions such as East Wall Summerland Beach, The Landing, Steel Auditorium Summerland Beach, and A Cool Spot Summerland Beach. A modern photographic print on white stock shows the U.S. Post Office in Millersport, Ohio. The reverse of the postcards includes handwritten correspondence, one-cent stamps, and postmarks from Millersport, Ohio, dated 1913 and 1917. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, March 27 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
