Description
A collection of early 20th-century black and white photographic postcards primarily depicting scenes from Millersport, Ohio, and Summerland Beach on Buckeye Lake. The various views include the local high school, the Summerland Beach dance hall and boat landing, the Sunfish Club and canal, and the shoreline of Buckeye Lake. Several cards feature handwritten correspondence on the reverse. Postal markings include postmarks from Millersport and Columbus, Ohio, with dates including 1909, 1912, 1913, and 1922. Multiple cards retain green George Washington one-cent postage stamps. The cards are composed of standard cardstock with photographic and printed elements. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, March 27 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
