Description
This late 19th-century tintype photograph features a rare trick double portrait depicting the same man appearing twice in a single seated composition. The subject is dressed in a Victorian-style three-piece suit and bow tie, with light hand-tinted pink highlights visible on the cheeks. The figures are set against a painted studio backdrop featuring a staircase and architectural elements. The image is produced on a ferrotype metal plate. No legible marks or inscriptions are present on either the front or the reverse of the plate.
