Description
This assortment consists of mid-20th-century decorative fasteners presented on two labeled display cards. These are buttons categorized by the original collector as Pastes in Plastic and Metalized w/ Jewels. The collection features a variety of construction materials including molded plastics, base metals with gold and silver-tone finishes, and glass paste rhinestones. Decorative elements include faceted glass stones, cabochons in various colors such as blue, green, and amber, and intricate metalwork with floral and geometric motifs. Several examples exhibit sunburst patterns, filigree designs, and pavé-set rhinestone clusters. The buttons vary in size and profile, ranging from small accent pieces to large focal buttons.
