Description
This group features an assortment of decorative items, confirming that these are buttons and small collectible pins professionally organized onto four themed display cards. The cards are categorized by subject matter: Windmills, Transportation, Thistle, and Structures. The Windmills card includes pieces crafted from brass, transfer-decorated white glass, red cellulose acetate, horn, vegetable ivory, and lacquerware, with specific attributions to studios including Idabelle and Shirley. The Transportation card contains plastic and metal depictions of various vehicles, including a Balloon Button in its original retail packaging. The Thistle card focuses on metal buttons, several featuring enamel details and British hallmarks.
