Description
A collection of vintage and antique buttons presented on two display boards. These are buttons featuring a diverse array of early plastics and polymers including Bakelite, celluloid, and Lucite, with some examples incorporating vegetable ivory, metal accents, glass, or shell components. The assortment includes various sizes and shapes such as round, square, and novelty forms. Decorative elements consist of carved, molded, and inset details. Notable designs include a large two-toned orange and brown swirl button, various geometric and floral patterns, and figural motifs including a lion’s head and an angel.
Board height: 9 inches Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
