Description
This collection features an assortment of vintage and contemporary novelty items; specifically, these are buttons professionally organized and mounted on multiple display boards. The collection is categorized into several themes, including a variety of nut and cone shapes such as acorns and walnuts, and a group of mechanical devices depicting miniature tools, electronics, and vehicles. Notable examples within the mechanical category include computers, hot air balloons, wrenches, and calculators. Also included is a JHB International Quilter’s Novelty Button Set featuring floral-patterned shapes like a cat, pig, and star. The items are constructed from various materials including brass, silver-tone metal, porcelain, wood, cellulose, and nylon. Several carved wooden novelty buttons are present, depicting figures such as a bunny, rocking horse, and glove. Many items are accompanied by handwritten identification labels on the display boards.
Display boards range approximately 6 to 9 inches in height. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
