Description
A collection of vintage and antique buttons presented on four display cards, primarily focused on equine themes including horses and horseshoes. The assortment features Victorian metal picture buttons and examples manufactured from brass, silver-toned metal, horn, composition, and ceramic. The buttons exhibit various decorative techniques such as relief motifs of horse heads, riding scenes, and detailed engravings. Specific handwritten notations on the cards identify materials including Horn w/ Brass, Beechcroft China, and Composition. One card features a central printed color photograph of a mare and foal. Card dimensions approximately 9 inches by 12 inches. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
