Description
World War One Identification booklet for Carl Siemens who during most of WW1 was a gunner on the SMS Oldenburg. This 31 page identification booklet measures 3.4″ x 5.7″. The entries in this booklet indicate that Siemans served in the Navy from 1902 through the November 16, 1918. He received the Iron Cross, Second Class for his actions during the Battle of Juttland. He also received a 9 Year Service Cross and German Colonial Service medal. Book is in overall excellent condition. Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
