Description
Prussian World War One 1st & 2nd Class Iron Cross certificates and 3rd Class Long Service certificate awarded to Max Schindler. The 2nd Class Iron Cross was awarded February 28, 1917. The document is dated March 6, 1917 and bears the stamped seal of the 51st Prussian Infantry Regiment. Measures 6″ x 7.625″. Wear and vertical fold separation with type repair on the back. The 1st Class Iron Cross certificate is dated August 8, 1920. Measures 6″ x 7.625″. The 3rd Class Long Service was awarded to Schindler, then serving with the 2nd Cavalry Division, on June 18, 1922 at Breslau. Measures 6″ x 7.25″. All three documents have an applied canvas backing. Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
