Original World War One promotion document by King Wilhelm II of Wurttemberg promoting Sergeant Major Heinrich Schill of the Landwehr District II Stuttgart to Lieutenant of the Reserve Infantry. Issued March 15, 1918 at Stuttgart. This promotion document bears the seal – stamp of Wurttemberg. The watermarks on this document are visible when held to the light. Measures 8.25″ x 12.9375″. Overall excellent condition with fold marks and hole punches along the side. Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
