Description
A Remington Mark III flare signal pistol manufactured by the Remington Arms – Union Metallic Cartridge Co. in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The pistol features a 9 inch polished chrome barrel, a brass frame, and two piece dark wood grips. Stamped markings on the left side of the barrel read MARK III – THE REMINGTON ARMS-UNION METALLIC C. REMINGTON BRIDGEPORT WORKS-BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT, U.S.A. This model is chambered for 10 gauge flare cartridges and bears the serial number 1-295. The pistol is constructed with a tip-up barrel design and a spur trigger. Barrel length: 9 inches. This item is not classified as a firearm and can be picked up or shipped without an FFL or paperwork. In-house shipping available. Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
