This collection includes several military garments and one piece of personal equipment primarily from the United States Army and British Armed Forces, spanning the World War II and Cold War eras. The first item is a US Army M-1951 field jacket featuring a button-down collar, buttoned cuffs, and a yellow-on-black U.S. ARMY branch tape over the left breast pocket. The interior neck is stamped with sizing information: SMALL REGULAR, CHEST FROM 33 TO 37 INCHES, HEIGHT FROM 67 TO 71 INCHES, and STOCK NO. 55-J-610-10. The second item is a British Mark 2 body armor cover, constructed of olive drab textile. The label identifies it as COVER, BODY ARMOUR, MARK 2, with NSN 8470-99-132-9640, manufactured by Wathen Gardiner and Co. Ltd., and marked as size E332 X LARGE. The third item is a US Army M-1943 field jacket characterized by notched lapels and a button-front closure. The final item is a US Army M-1944 wool field jacket, commonly referred to as an Ike jacket, which features a cropped waist, waist buckle, and notched lapels. An interior label identifies this garment as JACKET, FIELD, WOOL, OD, and it is accompanied by a wooden hanger from French Cleaners. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
