Description
This lot contains a pair of brown leather military-style service shoes and a collection of canvas leggings in the M1938 pattern. The ankle-height service shoes feature capped toes and fleece-lined tongues. The interior leather of the upper is marked with a stamp reading DUNEX U.S.A. The heel of the leather insole is incised with the characters B 7. The rubber outsoles are embossed with NYLO and NEOPRENE. The heels are marked OIL RESISTANT and feature a stylized logo consisting of an S inside a diamond or hexagonal border. The assortment of M1938 pattern canvas leggings includes various shades of khaki and olive drab, representing different production periods such as Olive Drab No. 3 and Olive Drab No. 7. The leggings are constructed from heavy canvas with metal grommets, lacing hooks, and adjustable web straps with metal buckles designed to secure under the boot instep. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale. Please carefully look at all photos (up to 100 in some cases on our in-house platform) to judge for yourself what you are buying. All sales are final. Our in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Wednesday, July 15, from Noon to 5 pm at our facility in Lancaster, OH. Alternate pickup day is available by appointment for a $5 fee per lot or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
