Description
A trio of mid-century modern brutalist-style sailboat sculptures constructed from brass and copper. These stylized vessels feature curved, overlapping metal sails with textured, brazed edges. The collection includes one larger ship mounted on a rough-hewn banded onyx or agate base and two others mounted on wood bases. The sculptures incorporate wire rigging and decorative pennant flags. A handwritten signature appearing to read Jerry is present on the lower portion of the sails on multiple pieces, with one also bearing a handwritten number 101 on the reverse.
Tallest measures approximately 13 inches in height. Pickup is Saturday, April 4, from from 11 amto 3 pm at the home in Choctaw Lake, OH or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. We will charge a $10 fee to bring this lot back to our warehouse for shipping or pickup. Once packed up we will send you an invoice for shipping & handling. Shipping questions: [email protected].
