Description
This large hand-blown art glass decorative vessel is designed in the form of an oversized brandy snifter. The piece features an amberina color palette, transitioning from a deep ruby red at the rim to a warm amber-orange toward the base. The interior is decorated with a molded coin dot or thumbprint pattern, which creates a faceted visual effect against the smooth, glossy exterior. The bowl is supported by a clear glass stem and a wide, circular pedestal base. The construction and form are attributed to mid-20th-century Italian Empoli glass production, though the piece also shares characteristics with American amberina glass such as Blenko. No maker marks or signatures are observed.
Height: Approximately 12 inches. Pickup is Saturday, April 4, from from 11 amto 3 pm at the home in Choctaw Lake, OH or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
