Description
This collection consists of three ceramic pieces from the mid-century period. Included is an oval chartreuse bowl from the American Modern dinnerware line designed by Russel Wright for Steubenville, featuring a stamped maker mark on the underside. Also included is a pedestal vase with a mottled green glaze, which retains a gold foil manufacturer label for Freeman-McFarlin Originals of El Monte, California, and is incised with the model number 502 on the base. The third item is a large stylized guardian lion figure, commonly referred to as a foo dog, finished in a multi-toned amber glaze with green and red accents in the Sancai style, featuring inset green glass eyes.
Guardian lion: 12 inches long
Pedestal vase: 8 inches tall
Oval bowl: 11 inches long. Pickup is Saturday, April 4, from from 11 amto 3 pm at the home in Choctaw Lake, OH or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
