Civil War regimental history of the 29th Ohio Volunteer Infantry regiment written by J. Hamp SeCheverell of Company B and published in 1883 in Cleveland This 284 page book includes a regimental roster, and a 47 page list of casualties; certainly one of the most detailed and extensive casualty lists to be found in any Civil war regimental history Overall very good, complete condition. Binding is tight with no loose or missing pages. Minor scuffing and wear. , The 29th Ohio Volunteer Infantry was assigned for most of its service to the 12th & 20th Army Corps of the Army of Potomac. During its term of sevice they were engaged Winchester, Mount Jackson, Newtown, Port Republic, Cedar Mountain, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, Dug Gap, and during the Atlanta Campaign at Mill Creek, Cassville, Dallas, New Hope Church, and Pine Knob, Georgia. It suffered 120 officers and men killed or mortally wounded during the war.
