Description
Civil War regimental history of the 90th O.V.I. regiment written by H. O. Harden, and published in 1902 by Press of Fairfield – Pickaway, News in Stoutsville, Ohio. This 337 page book includes photographs, a detailed 70 page roster, a Roll of Honor, and a list of addresses of surviving members. .Overall very good, complete condition. Binding is tight with no loose or missing pages. There is minor wear. The 90th OVI was assigned for most of its service to the 4th and 21st Army Corps in the Department and Army of the Ohio and Cumberland. During its term of service they were engaged at Nashville (1862), Stone’s River, Ringgold, Chickamauga, Dallas, Georgia, Resaca, Cassville, Kennesaw Mountain, Near Marietta, and Nickajack Creek. The regiment suffered 82 officers and men killed or mortally wounded during the war.
