Description
This extensive assortment of buttons and small-scale decorative items spans from the Victorian era through the contemporary period. The collection features a diverse range of materials including glass, various metals such as Victorian silver and cut steel, enamel, plastic, bakelite, shell, and ceramic. Notable inclusions are vintage black glass buttons with beaded centers and several animal-themed pins. A portion of the lot remains on original retail or collector cards, with markings such as gita maria HANDMADE BUTTONS, Sew-ology, and the Florida State Button Society. The group includes several small boxes of sorted selections and handwritten notes referencing C.W. Simmons and Son Boston. Small red and yellow labels marked with the word cahier are also present throughout the lot. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
