Description
A large and diverse collection of antique and vintage buttons and sewing notions. The lot features buttons in a wide array of materials including glass, metal, mother-of-pearl, celluloid, and composite, with styles ranging from ornate pictorial and jeweled designs to simple utilitarian forms. Several sets are presented on original or collector cards with labels such as The Fashion, Supreme Quality, and Black Glass Riveted, while others are contained in decorative boxes or loose in trays. Notable items include reproduction 18th-century military buttons, a metal thimble, a small box of faux pearls, and various novelty charms. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
